Our Care and Support
We listen to what people want and what matters to them when we create the individual care and support plans. We look at an individual’s needs and discuss with them and their loved one’s how they would like the care and support to be delivered. Independence and choice is promoted at all times so that people feel valued and in control.
We strive to deliver our service with respect, kindness and warmth believing that flexibility is vital as everyone is different.
We work in collaboration with external health professionals to meet people’s needs and act in the best interests for people are what we supporting.
We are able to care for and support people who have the following physical and mental health conditions
Our trained and caring staff pride themselves on creating a person-centred care plan for the needs and wishes of each resident. The Code of Professional Conduct and the Social Services & Wellbeing Act (Wales) 2014 is what underpins the delivery of our service.
Throughout the Covid pandemic, everyone involved with Bay Tree House worked together to keep our residents safe and well. In April and May of 2020, selfless staff at the home volunteered to “live-in” with the residents 24 hours a day for a total of six weeks.
This involved leaving their loved ones at what was a very difficult and uncertain time. This demonstrated the compassion and dedication felt by our staff towards the wellbeing of our residents. This act of kindness prevented Covid-19 from coming into Bay Tree House in the first wave of the pandemic.
Ongoing protocols and procedures are in place at Bay Tree House to prevent and manage Covid-19 so that all our residents and staff are kept as safe as possible.
We understand the importance of feeling people “belong” and how important it is to feel safe and happy whilst living in comfort.
